This online course prepares classroom teachers and university supervisors to work with student teachers. It is designed specifically for teachers who have their own classrooms and for individuals who are serving as university supervisors, including:
- recently retired school administrators
- master teachers
- university faculty members
- doctoral students
The seven modules cover the overall student teaching experience and include relevant observation techniques and feedback strategies plus numerous resources.
NOTE: This course fulfills the North Dakota Century Code requirements for classroom teachers and university supervisors to work with student teachers. Cooperating teachers who accept UND student teachers for the full 16-week semester receive a stipend near the end of the semester. University supervisors are compensated in accordance with UND Teacher Education policy. For more information, see field placement at the UND College of Education & Human Development.

Dr. Linda Holdman has been the Field Placement Director for the UND College of Education & Human Development for more than 11 years. During that time, she has placed hundreds of student teachers, and she works to share resources with and support to cooperating teachers and supervisors.
